Mānawatia a Matariki!

Our new delivered catering menu is alive and kicking! The menu has been live for two weeks now and our clients have been enjoying the new items.

One of our favourites new items are the new Antipasto Skewers - a bit bigger than a canapé and a great savoury cold item to supplement lunches or on their own for afternoon tea or after work nibbles. They travel well, and everyone has loved the one bite on a skewer, rather than fussing with a traditional cheese platter.

New Season Salads

Salads are the highlight of our lunch menu, so we give them a lot of thought with each menu change.

Inspired by seasonal produce, our salads are designed to complement the rest of our menu while always considering flavour combinations and dietary requirements. Introducing the new salads for this season:

Spiced Roast Veg Salad
Middle Eastern spiced roast veg, mesclun, cottage cheese, dried fig, preserved lemon (vegetarian and gluten-free)

This has become the firm favourite as a filling option, a hearty flavour-bomb that our clients love with plenty of texture and pockets of cottage cheese for a touch of extra creaminess.

Creamy Broccoli Pasta Salad
Creamy broccoli, celery, pasta, red onion, currants, dijonaise (vegetarian)

Our famous creamy broccoli salad has made a comeback! She has been revamped into a pasta salad with the same recipe as a base, resulting in the same delicious creamy and tangy flavours as the OG.

Beetroot and Fennel Panzanella

Beetroot 2 ways, fresh herbs, salad leaves, croutons, chardonnay dressing (vegan)

We loved the Panzanella salad over summer so much, we couldn’t bear to say goodbye to it. With tomatoes going out of season, we had to get creative so the chefs have transformed the traditional version into a winter beetroot edition. Purple and golden varieties of beetroot are treated two ways, roasted and macerated and dressed in a bright chardonnay dressing with chunky croutons to mop up all the flavour.

Asian Coleslaw and Herb Salad
Shaved cabbage, carrot, fresh herbs, bean sprouts, sesame, nam jim dressing (gluten-free)

This coleslaw is packed with bright and fresh ingredients, a crisp salad with a flavourful nam jim, a light Thai style dressing containing fish sauce for extra umami points. This salad pairs really well with our asian inspired beef and tofu skewers, but is also a good option for clients and guests who want a salad that isn’t so heavy.

Our salads can be ordered as a part of your lunch menu and served in large shared bowls. While the salads are safe for some dietaries, we are able to adjust them to accommodate other dietary requirements individually as well.

Our Catering Coordinator can help select the right salad for your menu and dietary requirements, or let us know if you have a preference and we’ll make sure to add it to your menu!
