This Sunday, 16 February, Wellington will showcase the vibrant diversity of our Asian communities on the waterfront.
This family-friendly event is the perfect way to experience the rich cultures and traditions of the Lunar New Year.
The festivities kick off at 10:15 AM with a dragon dance in Queen’s Square. The celebrations continue throughout the day at the TSB Arena and Shed 6, featuring a fantastic mix of crafts, displays, food, and live performances. There will also be interactive activities, performances, and workshops at Frank Kitts Park.
Whether you're exploring cultural displays or enjoying delicious food, there's something for everyone on Festival Day.
Our sister company, Glou Glou, will be offering a Lunar New Year special featuring macarons with jasmine tea & milk chocolate ganache with mandarin marmalade all week. Perfect for celebrating the occasion! Plus, join us on Saturday at 1:45 PM at Glou Glou for a special Lion Dance.
